Become a Leader (NYLI)
The future of the hemophilia community is resting in the hands of you and your peers. Now is the time to get involved as tomorrow’s leaders. Young people with bleeding disorders all over the country are joining committees and advisory boards with their local hemophilia chapters and are even helping create new programs for youth and teens. Now it’s your turn. Contact your local chapter administrator and ask how you can get more involved as a leader in your community.
The National Hemophilia Foundation gives you the opportunity to also get involved on a national level. NHF’s National Youth Leadership Institute (NYLI) connects young adults 18 - 25 who are involved with their local chapters and interested in taking on a bigger role with youth programs. After participating in training, NYLI members are responsible for implementing youth events focusing on prevention/self-empowerment in their hometowns and other areas across the country as needed. Find out more about getting involved in NYLI from NHF.
