Team Hemophilia
Team Hemophilia is warming up for an ACTIVE and HEALTHY season at hemophilia summer camps across the country!
Team Hemophilia is a mobile education program made possible through support by Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in partnership with the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF). The mobile tour brings relevant and important youth programming to communities across the country. In 2009, Team Hemophilia will be visiting participating summer camps to encourage youth to live active and healthy lifestyles. The exciting, interactive, and hands-on Team Hemophilia mobile tour is designed to encourage youth to pledge to get active.
The 2009 program was developed with guidance from the NHF Physical Therapy Working Group and is facilitated by members of NHF's National Youth Leadership Institute (NYLI). NYLI members will lead Team Hemophilia workshops that will help participants become leading advocates for healthy living when they return home from summer camp.
