Summer Camps

Summer camp is a great place to get connected and build relationships with your peers, many of whom are also making decisions about what to do after graduation. The counselors at camp can also serve as great mentors who can tell you how they found the answers they needed before high school graduation and what resources they’ve used to become successful.

Camp is also a great opportunity for you to become a role model for younger kids, by talking with them about self-infusion or starting high school. If you’ve never gone to camp before, consider going next year. If you have, think about becoming a counselor.

A comprehensive directory of summer camps can be found at www.hemophilia.org. Contact your local HTC or your local National Hemophilia Foundation chapter today to get more information about summer camps in your area.
